Tell

       tell [name] [message]
       tell [name1], [name2], ... [name5] [message]
       tell log
       tell move
       tell off

The tell command is used to communicate with up to five people at once. It is only usable as a means of OOC (Out of Character) communication, therefore it is bound by the OOC communication rules.

When sending multitells, the recipients are notified of the other members of the multitell.

If you are in combat, AFK, or linkdead, you will automatically buffer any tells received. It is possible to force-log tell tells with the TELL LOG command, or to log them while moving with TELL MOVE. To turn these options off, use TELL OFF.

You can also send tells to yourself, useful for invisibly testing color codes for that new outfit.

Tells are not to be used to share in-character information.
