Policy:Notes

Players engaging in heresy or PKill activities MUST have notes explaining their reasoning in their desc notes files. Please read description to learn about how to set description notes.

Notes appear in reverse order, so most recent notes appear on top. Old information can only be edited by the hand of an immortal.

These notes are required and used by policy to establish a character's IC motivation for engaging in seriously antisocial behaviors on TI during the course of RP. If a player complains that they have been victimized by another player, policy will search the notes a player has kept regarding their history with the victim.

Description notes are also to be used as something of an imm-only player help file. Please use it to describe the parts of your character that players should not see, but immortals should know about if they need to make decisions about your character's behavior.

You can add pretty much anything to these notes, but if you're engaging in any sort of dangerous behavior that someone may call on policy about, you'll want it to be in your notes so immortals can check that your behavior is consistent with your character. Thus, on-going behaviors, such as conspiring against others, etc, should probably be present. Immortals will check notes whenever they're curious, and may choose to award QP based on what they see.

You may wish to save important goals in your desc notes as well, so that if you accomplish one, an imm can look back and possibly award QP.

Use look self notes to view your desc notes file.
