Policy:Burden of Proof
From InquisitionWiki
Policy on TI is not pro-active. Unless a player makes a formal complaint to the Policy Implementor (Ephera), the immortals on The Inquisition will not become involved in IC matters.
In this vein, the player who stages an IC complaint bears the Burden of Proof. The complaint must meet the following criteria before Policy will actively engage in handling the case:
1) The plaintiff must point out WHICH policy has been violated.
2) The plaintiff must supply proof that the violation occured.
If neither of these conditions are properly met, the case will be discarded.
OOC complaints may be handled by any immortal at any time in absolutely any manner they see fit. Complaints of an OOC nature must still meet the Burden of Proof before an immortal will become involved.
Ephera herself only handles IC complaints unless she feels there is a clear and present danger to the game itself.
